In a nutshell, Rock is the future of the next story arc in King of Fighters; the successor to Terry Bogard (not taking Kyo Kusanagi's place, however). He's a troubled kid, who, despite the fact he's a strong fighter, denies being the son of criminal mastermind,
Geese Howard. Personally, I find him one of the most intriguing characters from all those characters that SNK pumps out, simply because he is a prime example of the complicated youth of the next generation.
